Free breakfast at this hostel was amazing! They own the restaurant downstairs, and you get to choose from the breakfast menu! The hostel was very quiet and very few people staying there, but I did not mind. Good place to rest, comfy beds and large rooms! Public bus to Trujillo was just a 2-min walk away on the main street and ran often. Very easy to get to Chan Chan by public bus. Fun to watch the surf competitions at the beach.

Wonderful place in a safe nice area of Trujillo. There are many cafes and shops around with different cuisines, so you won't go hungry. Loved the room with "single room - garden view". Panoramic windows overlooking the artificial lawn provide a certain pleasure. Very polite and friendly staff here. they always monitor cleanliness and ask if you need to clean the room - this is very convenient, because they don’t come to you at an inconvenient time to clean up like in other hotels.

I came to Pointbreak Surf Camp without knowing exactly what to expect, and honestly… it was amazing! The vibe here is incredible, everyone is super friendly, and you instantly feel at home. The surf lessons are top-notch. The instructors are really patient and give personalized advice, which makes a huge difference. Even as a beginner, I was able to catch my first real waves within the first few days! The spot is perfect for learning and improving, and the equipment is great.
