Amazing place with such a special location! It's a real gem, providing a very different view to what you'd normally get in Moalboal. It's located in the mangrove forest and slightly outside of the town (15 min or so on a scooter), but it felt amazing going back to this beautiful calming environment after the chaos of driving around and sightseeing Cebu. You can go on a kayak tour around the mangrove forest which I highly recommend - we loved this experience! The rooms are not luxury, but still a very cute cabin style and are very clean. Each cabin is surrounded by trees, so it feels like you're in the middle of the jungle. And the food - the best we had during our Philippines travel, super tasty and well priced. The only thing I'd improve is adding some light duvets to the rooms (it was raining a lot when we were there and I tend to get cold at night easily), but light sheets are standard in most of the hotels in the Philippines. They were very kind to give me extra sheets though to cover up at night.

Momo is the best host anyone could ask for. Kind, funny and helpful, she made sure everyone knew each other and no one was left behind. Truly a wonderful person who cares about her hostel and her guests. The hostel is in a quiet area of Moalboal, right next to a small beach visited only by locals where you can find turtles in a much more relaxed and ethical way than on the main beaches. Go there and feel right at home.

The location was wery good, a little bit further from the noise, but still very close to all attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped to arrange everything we asked for. The food at the local bar was tasty and reasonally priced. The bungalows were very tidy and cosy. We especially enjoyed the hammock provided outside our bungalow.

This hostel is great! Brand new with a pool & pool bar. They have some dorms and private rooms. The private room was really nice, enough space with private bathroom. The hostel is not too big but not too small either. You can just chill at the pool or do some day activities. The owners and the staff are great! You can do your laundry there. Happy hour every day and pool parties on Saturdays.

    Loved the hospitality. The owners made sure I got a the best transportation as I was headed for a night out alone. I had expected a tuktuk and got a whole fancy jeep instead. The driver was also so sweet making sure I was OK the whole night and made sure I got back safe.

    It’s very green, cozy place with beautiful landscape. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. If you wish to have time off from city life style, I recommend this place. Our room was a hostel type option, and It’s nice to have a shower door outside in such landscape, not disturbing people in room. I saw some guest are coming back yearly to this place.

    I had a four bed dormitory room all for me, so that was great. It had AC and nicely smelling bedding. The crispy chicken for dinner was delicious!

    I liked this place very much. it is close to nature. the gym for customers is free. you can play giant chess or billiards. all for free. the owner is very kind and helps his customers to arrange what they need. it is possible to put up a tent in the garden. drinking water is included. I already miss the smiling owner and his lovely wife. there is also a place where you can have a barbecue under the roof. kitchen with fridge. is all you need dear backpacker traveler
