You’ve got Filipino workers basically residing there long-term so don’t expect anything social. The location is great for Metro Manila and it is located in a local and comparatively safe neighbourhood. Directly next to the hostel there is a great local (and ridiculously cheap) restaurant as well as a 7/11 if you get the munchies in the night. The security measures are outstanding and there are lockers if you have some stuff to store. The hostel location is just 10 to 15 mins away from the Airport. The room is quiet spacious and the area is all spotless. To be honest, I have stayed for almost a fortnight it was all great experienced. And I must say all the staff were utterly accommodating, friendly, thoughtful and kind. Many planes to eat or drink nearby. Great location, many places for sightseeing on foot distance (less than 25-30min). You can go to Rizal Park, museum of fine arts, Oceanpark, Intramuros, Binondo etc. Its well connected to local transport. Everything you need nearby, hospital, farmacy atms.
