Felix (the owner) gave us warm welcome, the room was clean, with comfy bed and newly renovated bathroom. The breakfast was great and served by the owner himself - he has a true passion for what he does and is very good in it. Felix also gave us great tip for a restaurant 4 minutes away, where we had amazing meal (great variety of vegan/veggie dishes as well as local fish). We hope to stay there again, once we return to Madeira.

We rent entire studio. The interior is very well arranged, cozy, not just basic like other properties for rent. They meet us with presents: a bottle of wine, cookies, traditional cake, beer and water, fruits, milk and cereals!!!! It melt my heart!❤️ No one has met us before like this! The view is breathtaking! Ocean, nature! I liked the location. Yes, it’s in the north and it’s colder but it’s not so crowded and more quiet region. If you rent a car, it shouldn’t bother you! There was all necessary in the kitchen - ALL. There are even towels for beach. There is really fonic isolation, when you close the window, the noise from the ocean is considerably reduced! Only one thing that I can say it bothered:the bed creaks loudly when you are more active! 😅

A nice and cozy room. Clean and spacious. A few minutes from the beach and maybe 5-7 minutes walk from good restaurants and supermarket. Very nice bar downstairs where you can order a breakfast and stay for evening drinks. Very much liked my stay at Rum Inn. Definitely worth every cent of its price.

The staff at the hostel were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Helder, Carla and Grandma go above and beyond to make you feel at home. There’s a very warm atmosphere at the hostel. One thing I def need to point out, the beds were actually sooo comfortable, which I wasn’t expecting. Like really nice memory foam mattresses, not like the usual thin prison mattresses you get. Will definitely be back

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening.
