Everything was great. The option to dine in the cafe as well as well as being able to cook in the kitchen. Room was clean and had everything what was necessary. Supermarket is 5-7 min walk.

my favourite hostel I've stayed at. Absolutely loved the interior and the cute cats, the staff was super friendly and I would always love to come back. I was their first guest of the season in the beginning of march and they made sure that even though they just opened the day I arrived I was not missing anything. I also booked surf lessons with them and really enjoyed it, grazie Nico!

First of all the staff. I had the pleasure of meeting Paula from Poland and Natalia from Brazil. They were ever so helpful and welcoming. The place, although geared mostly for surfers, is amazing. There is a certain vibe which makes one feel relaxed and friendly. There is everything one needs. My room had a desk, chair, closet, bedside tables with lamps, a tall mirror and towels. On the ground floor you have the reception, kitchen, more rooms, an outside area with hammocks, sofas, tables, a bar and sometimes music in the evenings.

Boasting a shared lounge, terrace and views of city, Hostel do Mar is situated in Carrapateira, 1.5 km from Bordeira Beach.

Extremely cosy, well equipped kitchen, nice terrace, living room with books and yoga mats. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds are very comfy. Highly recommended!
