Just 15 mins walk to Vintgar Gorge, 15 mins walk to a lovely pizzeria restaurant and 20 mins walk to the bus station. There is loads of space to hang out... cosy chairs, hammocks etc. A nice big well equipped kitchen if you want to cook. Clean, spacious bathrooms. Comfy beds with lockers. Super easy to get there via bus or train (both within about a 2 minute walk). Marco the owner, and his family really make you feel welcome, and breakfast is made for you every morning, so all who is staying can catch up and get to know each other. The hostel was generally quite clean and was located just on the outskirts of town. A nice ten minutes walk or so to the lake and tourist hot spots. Being out of town ain't a problem, it's much closer to the good hiking spots, and it's a really nice bus ride/walk to and from the lake. Breakfast is amazing and the kitchen has all you need.
