This 'hostel' was exceptional. Beautifully functional and well designed. Everything about it worked well. The staff friendly and helpful. My room had a kitchenette and a big useful desk. The shower was hot and sensitive. Bed enormous and comfortable. Lift was fast. I hired one of their bikes - 24 hours for 13 euros which got me round this cycle-friendly town . The sea shore cycle track will take you nearly all the way to Isola, nut the disused railway route remained illusive. Poor signage despite the maps that tell you otherwise. If I'm ever in Koper again I will certainly stay at Hostel Villa Domus.

Very friendly and polite owner, she accommodated us even late in the evening and answered all our questions about Slovenian road trips. Also room was clean and comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were stuffed well, a lot of space and beautiful terrace.

Excellent stay at Bella Vista Hostel! We had a great experience at Bella Vista Hostel in Koper. We were very well received by the owner, who personally greeted us at the door and was extremely kind and helpful. The place is very clean and perfectly located right in the city center, very close to the main attractions. The lockers are spacious and convenient, with plenty of room to store suitcases and backpacks. The owner also kindly allowed us to leave our luggage for the rest of the day after check-out, which made a big difference for us. Highly recommended!

Really nice and friendly staff, helped us with late check in, questions about how to get to Piran etc. Modern room, definitely hotel standard. Air condition was very good. Perfect location in the city, close to the marina. We had breakfast at the adjecent restaurant/bar (Bife Museum) both days and were very happy with that ad well. Overall only nice things to say about this place!
