great stay. the owner is nice and happy to help with a taxi from the port and also renting a scooter. the location of the accommodation is exactly in the middle of the island. peaceful environment surrounded by cats :)

This hostel was so lovely to stay at. I just wish all hostels were like that. The beds are comfortable and the common areas are perfect. There are tables and a small kitchen area at the entrance (with fridge, microwave, toaster, etc) and the owner always has such cosy and peaceful music on. At the back, there is a garden area with a hammock and plenty of places to hang up clothes, plus some tables and chairs where you can sit and relax. The owner is the sweetest person ever, he even offered to take us to the pier in his motorcycle. He did several trips to take all the guests who wanted help getting to the pier, which is so nice of him!

We had a spacious private room and everything was very clean. Preeya was a lovely host she was so kind and cooked us Thai food twice, which brought us together with other people. She also arranged us a beautiful boat trip. With her daughter Sarah around it always feels like one big family. Thank you so much we really enjoyed our stay.

I loved staying here. It's a quiet and very chill new hostel, surrounded by nature. I had everything i needed, and i liked the little things wich made the place more feel like home, like the laundry baskets and tissues on the tables. Although it is a bit far from the market and 7/11, i could rent a scooter right at the hostel for a good price, and there are also bikes available if someone can't drive. The owner is super nice and she really made sure that i have a good time there, and the breakfast and the dishes were also delicious. All in all, very good experience, I extended my stay:)

I only stayed one night but wish I stayed longer, it was beautiful and so peaceful. It’s very clean and more spacious than it looks in the pictures. The bed was very comfortable too. The owner is lovely and made me feel very welcome. I loved my stay here.

Resting Place was run by some lovely guys, we were picked up from the pier and even dropped off at our next accommodation. The beds were very comfortable, and the room had lots of windows. The balcony had a great view, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, roti, fried egg, fried rice, fruit and coffee. They had bikes to hire and we were able to continue to hire them after leaving the hotel.

Boodsarin Hotel is set on the beachfront in Ko Yao Yai, 100 metres from Loh Paret Beach. The accommodation offers an ATM, and currency exchange for guests.

Location excellent, room basic but clean. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity and a short walk to Loh Pared Beach. It is not actually a hotel but called Boodsarin Apartments so no room cleaning during our stay, however, 2 bottles of water were given daily. There are about 8 - 10 rooms here and the staff from the Andaman clinic next door stay here too as some are working here from Malaysia. Everyone very friendly and it’s great value. From Klong Hia Pier (we travelled from Koh Lanta) it’s a set price of 600 baht to the area. We shared with a couple going to Santhiya Resort as it’s just around the corner.
