Hostels in Keelung

Just walking distance from Train Station, facilities for us was good, even so many customers, seems more than 20 persons but bathrooms & toilets enough for all. Love their rules not allowed use hairdryer & laundry after 11pm, strict but good for customers. Ivy as ladybos so friendly and recommend so many nice things surrounding Keelung, Boss also friendly and explained anything with very calm & soft. Not forget their night shift staff, young man, forgot ask his name, I always saw him did cleaning inside unit, and polite to us Thank you for your warm hospitality, Light Inn !

Great location near the train station. The staff were super helpful and gave good advice regarding the typhoon. The beds were comfy and facilities were all clean. I liked the common space and lounge, it was really quiet when I was there but if there were more people then it could be a social space. They gave free coffee and snacks!!

The accommodation is right next to the train station and is therefore perfectly located for excursions. The house is beautifully designed, it is a very special place. We were given lots of tips for things to do in the area and were pampered all round.

It was really nice hostel ! Close to bus station and railway station, just 2 min walk. Clean, nice host, comfortable kitchen down, hot and clean shower , really comfortable location to do 1 day trips to attractions around :) and also night market near by. Definitely, recommend!

Strategic location near Ruifang train station with food stalls (day and night) and 7-11 at nearby. Sleep inside box with curtain gives privacy to travellers. The host is friendly too.

This is a perfect and affordable place in Jiufen. The hostel is super clean, the staff is friendly, and everything about my stay was exceptional. The beds are comfortable and very private, contributing to a great experience. I highly recommend this hostel as it is a great example of how enjoyable a hostel can be. 🙏

located right in the main old street but very quiet at night. we stay in 2F and from the balcony we can see the coast. there were 8 beds in the room. the twins bed is spacious. they also have toilet inside the room. the bathroom is at the basement. the owner is very friendly too

We really enjoyed our week at NK Hostel. It felt safe and our quadruple suite with two bedrooms, two fridges, two TVs and two bathrooms was great value for money, spacious and comfortable. We loved the soft towels, power showers and heated toilet seats and were glad of the air conditioning. Everything was clean and the room smelt fresh. We found the staff friendly and helpful, the hallways and reception/common room/kitchen area were pleasant, there were plenty of options at breakfast and the laundry room worked well. We were able to leave our luggage at reception for the whole day once we'd checked out. It was helpful to have the free water machine in the kitchen where we could refill our bottles. We were pleased that there is a recycling bin and the hostel is trying its best to be eco friendly by not washing towels or cleaning rooms unnecessarily during the stay. The location was great for walking to Raohe Street Night Market & the impressively ornamental Songshan Ciyou Temple and we enjoyed meals at Creative Pasta and Zhuji in the Songshan Train Station building. We also visited the nearby Wufenpu Clothing Market, Taipei 101, National Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall and Songshan Cultural and Creative Park with tasty delights at 79 NIGARI Tofu Pudding shop, Lazzy Pet Friendly Cafe and Sushiro in Xinyi District. There were bus stops within 5-10 mons walking distance and we found it easy enough to make trips to Yehliu Geopark, Qingtaingang Grasslands, Shilin Nightmarket for Deer's Flower Cake (yum!), Jiufen Old Street, Houtong Cat Village, Taipei Zoo & Maokong Gondola plus explore Daan Park with the Artist, Flower and Jade Markets nearby. The Nanjing Sanmin underground station is 7 mins walk. It was staight forward to catch the green line to Beimen and walk to Taipei Main Station for the express train to Taoyuan International Airport. Would definitely feel keen to stay at NK Hostel again if we go back to Taipei.

the beds are super comfortable and the place including bathrooms are very clean. would definitely stay again if coming back to Taipei
