Place is really great, Damon - the owner super nice and very helpfull. He recommended me places to visit in Taiwan this time of the year and how best to get around. The atmosphere in the hostel is great, staff very friendly. Hostel is located near train/bus station, which is really helpful. It is clean, shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. I highly recommend it, would stay again !

The hostel furniture was brand new. Big bathrooms with large and modern showers. There was also a big washing machine where you could wash your clothes for just 40NTD (laundry soap included). The staff was extremely nice; even though English was not their strength, they were always available to help us and meet our needs. They offered us free snacks throughout the stay, which was very much appreciated. The location is ok, you have everything you need just a few minutes of walk away.

I was solo traveler with my bike. The owner also good cyclist, and gave me some local info likes warning point on the road. You can keep your bike on their lobby with the bike stand. The hotel is front of sight seeing point, and close to walk to the restaurants and conveniences stores. (So the hotel is Not noisy outside). I strongly recommend this hotel.

    Best hostel I‘ve had yet in Taiwan. Comfortable beds, really clean facilities and a nice atmosphere. The cute cafe downstairs is totally worth the (a tiny bit) higher prices. I‘d even recommend that cafe to someone who‘s just visiting Hualien.

    Spacious room. Curtains for the lower beds. Cozy atmosphere. Few types of tea available for the guests for free of charge. IKEA sharks as parts of decoration (joking but it was cute). Comfy armchairs in the common area. In general it was the best hostel during our 2 weeks trip around the island. Very good value for money.

    Cozy little hostel with very nice and welcoming staff. The location in between the train station and city center makes it easy to get around. The price was absolutely fine, actually very cheap for the offered quality. Good common area downstairs.

    Lovely hostel with super friendly owner and the best hostel pets, Obama the dog and Princess the cat! Great location in Hualien with the train station, plenty food options and bicycle rentals close by.
