The facilities and the location were exceptional! They had beach, snorkelling and surfing gears as free rentals, a must in Hawaii. The hostel has movie nights, a BBQ grill, area to play football, basketball or TT, a laundry and so on. The lobby and lounge area very good for working or networking. The location is prime. The bus stop is at 2min walking which connects to majority of the hotspots in Honolulu, a boon for solo or budget traveller's. Even the beach is at a 2min walking distance, best for someone who wants to enjoy water and sunsets daily! Lots of good and a variety of food options at a walkable distance too. Overall a must recommend for solo or group traveller's.

A very nice hostel overall, dorms were clean, staff were super helpful. Wifi was strong. Lockers were adequate. There is a kitchen area, which has everything you will need. Polynesian was a great place to stay for a few days.

・It was convenient for going anywhere, being in the city center. • I was able to stay at a low cost. • The staff were friendly and made me feel at ease right away. • Ms Georgia was very kind, and I was happy to feel relaxed quickly despite being a solo foreign traveler who isn’t fluent in English.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. I stayed in a female dorm. The location is perfect, it's in the Waikiki neighborhood, it means there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, there are lots of bus stops near. All the employees are very polite, positive and provide useful local advice about Oahu and the best places to visit. I can say that everything is very well organized. There is free coffee in the mornings and the option to rent equipment. I can say that everything is made to make sure travelers are comfortable and enjoy their time in Hawaii ! I met lots of interesting travelers. This hostel is a great place for those travelling individually and those who are looking to meet and chat with other travellers. I have enjoyed every second of my stay at this beautiful hostel, I've visted lots of great places in Oahu by taking a public bus that stops near the hostel and I highly recommend this place ! 10 out 10 !!! Awesome place to stay !

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

location of the hostel was very accessible, It was quiet and we felt really safe walking around the area. Our flight was delayed to Honolulu so we missed out on two days of our stay, however, the staff was very understanding and did not cancel our reservation. We were already so stressed being stuck in Sydney, but the helpfulness of the hostel helped relive that. We are so grateful. The tours they organise too, are so sick! very organised, fun and cheap. We met some amazing people

Using the Goki app to login and access rooms etc. Very tech savvy, also meant not fussing or worrying about losing keys. Rooms were cleaned regularly - bathrooms to a very good standard. Super helpful staff. Liked the baggage storage, left my main suitcase at the hostel while I travelled to mainland USA for five days. Very hand. Great location, safe too!
