It’s one of the best hostels I have ever stayed. Comfortable spacious room looks like a private apartment for 4 people, very clean and with a great view. Swimming pool is quite clean and with lounge music. I wish to stay longer and definitely I will come here again.

The rooms are big and spacious. The beda are comfy and the temperature is perfectly cool. There is a great atmosphere in the common area and as a solo traveller you cam easily meet new people. Ninh and the rest of the team are lovely and take good care of you.

Overall Catba Pod hostel is the best hostel I have stayed in Catba. The two receptionists were very helpful! Both gave me their Whatsapp should I need it. One of them gave very clear information about the places at Cat Ba i could visit while the other helped with my first time riding a scooter. The room itself was also great. Extremely clean toilets. I really like how the pods also had cabinet spaces where there was ample space to put my belongings. The beds were on the harder side but very wide and I had excellent sleep the three nights I was there.

Beautiful spot way out in nature far from all the other places to stay on the island. Had a wonderful time here catching up with some friends I knew were here ~ if you're alone & there's no-one around it might seem a bit isolated but if you want the nature tip & especially if you know there are people here then it's perfect! Nice pool too, & the place is well equipped as a music venue if there's anything actually going on (not always..!)
