Very cool vibe. Rooftop hot tub 👍 2 for 1 cocktails. You will meet a tonne of other travellers here. Staff are chill. Pretty good breakfast in the morning but coffee isn't free for some reason. I had a really great time here. You will too if you're back packing

I liked the atmosphere of Cat ba hostel. It was in the centre and close to everything. The bed was super comfortable and spacious. The restaurant on the bottom floor was very good quality and I loved the free breakfast. It was very taste. The highlight for me was the attitude of the staff and employees, so friendly and caring. Very easy to sort any trips etc. I would also like to note an act of kindness by one of the staff members called Vu. I mistakenly left my clean laundry at the hostel and only realised when I was back in Hanoi. Vu had the laundry dropped down to a bus station where I collected it in Hanoi. A powerful act of kindness. Thanks Vu. Would 100% recommended This hostel.

Very cool aesthetic tucked away in the jungle, bamboo and thatch roof dorms/tents for a camping in nature feel. Staff super friendly and helpful. Laundry/bike rental nearby they will drop you to. Also had the coolest common room guitar I've ever come across.

I booked 1 night and extended for 2 more nights. Great location, a friendly and welcoming management family, budget rooms but great atmosphere, you get more than you pay for. I would recommend this place 150%. My personal list highly recommend: *The environment is quite quiet, different from places full of dust and lots of car horns in Vietnam. A few hours a day there will be sounds from the gym or neighbors gathering for entertainment, but that's during the time when I went out to eat and for the beach, so it's generally not affected. On the contrary, it's so interesting because you can clearly see the interesting life surrounding local people * Friendly staff (the daughter) with fluent English, her father can't speak English but is extremely hospitable and helpful *Location, walking distance to the beach is spacious, walking distance to the center is not far *Room is clean, staff is ready to support everything * Stable hot water shower with good water pressure *Good breakfast, fast service It's basically the best of both worlds in terms of accessibility to town center and a wonderfully quiet environment Thank you so much for making our vacation even better Really recommend that great place
