Super chill place to stay and hang out, great location and communal areas of kitchen and sunny terrace. Beds were super comfy, bathrooms clean and hot showers. Rob was great, nice to have someone around to give you lots of info on where to go, how to get transport and things to do. unlike other Albanian hostels I went to where staff were a super rare sight. And they have a cat to hang out with!! Bonus that breakfast was included, and so nice that they make your coffee/tea for you. And if you're leaving early they bag some fruit for you to take instead!!!

Situated in the heart of Shkoder we were within walking distance of all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops, making exploring the city incredibly convenient. What truly set North Star Hostel apart, however, was the outstanding staff. From the friendly receptionists who greeted us upon arrival to the attentive housekeeping team, everyone went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the secure parking for our motorcycles. As avid riders, having a safe and designated parking area for our bikes was a major priority. We could relax and enjoy our time in the city knowing that our bikes were in good hands. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Whether you're visiting Shkoder for business or pleasure, this hotel truly has it all – great location, comfortable accommodations and of course, secure parking for your prized possessions. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the city!
