The location is close to the bus station and center where there are lots of restaurants, shops, and cafes. But beyond everything, this place was great because of the family who own it. They are so kind, welcoming, and lovely. They helped me arrange a tour and gladly answer any questions. Real gems of human beings!

The staff were so amazing, really truly understand hospitality and bringing people together, they provide such an incredible social space with the garden, and encourage a friendly space where you can meet everyone in house. They take care of everything you need for your stay, airport transfer, hiking tours, river day trips, winery visits, advice on where to buy things you need. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. I came here for one night since they are the only hostel in Shkoder that accepts credit cards, but I ended up extending it for four more nights. I already want to return! Fun owner and is easy to talk to and connect with. The hostel has a great common room, and the beds have a curtain. The best value for money. Oh they have professional bicicles for rent. I recommend taking one and climbing the mountain above the lake. It also overlooks Montenegro beaches, and going downhill with the professional bike is extremely fun. Also, don't miss the beautiful Teth village.
