The bus station is a 5 minute walk which was perfect. The town is a 5-10 minute walk as well. The common spaces were huge with plenty of room for everyone. There was enough room in the kitchen for ~4 people to cook at once. Lots of kitchen storage and everything you need to cook. The breakfast was a nice spread with toasts, yogurts, cereals, juices. The staff were also very nice. Facilities were cleaned daily and everything was very well kept.

With scenic views of Calafate´s mountains and lake, this hostel is a 7-minute walk from downtown Calafate. It features accommodation with floor heating, free Wi-Fi, communal kitchen and laundrette. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was great and started early if you had to leave early in the morning. The evenings were entertaining and busy in the restaurant area. The drinks were phenomenal.

Small cosy hostel felt like home, the hostess Soli was so incredibly helpful and attentive, breakfast is so thoughtful, packed in numbered breakfast bags and fridge has numbered drawers so felt very tidy and organised. curtains on the beds made a difference, felt private. Beds are wide and one of the dorms had shelves which was super handy.

Hostel Danny tọa lạc ở El Calafate, cách Nimez Lagoon 2.2 km và Isla Solitaria (Lonesome Island) 8.9 km. Danny is the kindest host we’ve ever met. This is his family business, and he runs it together with his wife and brother. They truly make you feel at home. They are extremely accommodating with everything from special requests to holding your luggage, organising day trips to the glaciers, etc. Sweetest people. Also the location is perfect, next to the Main Street with all the restaurants etc

I prefer to stay in Hostel Elal when in El Calafate because it's cozy, clean, warm, quiet, cheap, tidy. The staff are friendly, there's a good kitchen and the WiFi is fast. Oh and they have free coffee.
