With scenic views of Calafate´s mountains and lake, this hostel is a 7-minute walk from downtown Calafate. It features accommodation with floor heating, free Wi-Fi, communal kitchen and laundrette. The hostel was fantastic.The place had a massive common room with both a great outside area. They also had acts on some nights such as karaoke and live music, it was a great place to relax at night.

Schilling Hostel Patagonico is a hostel in the centre of El Calafate. It offers pleasant accommodation and free WiFi throughout the hotel. Staff was great, all of the where very friendly and helpful. They provided great recommendations and guidance with a very nice attitude. Breakfast is really good, very complete with different options. Very good location near the center.

Very beautiful hostel, a two common areas with sofas and dining tables, awesome kitchens (there is 2 kitchens:) Super hot shower, and believe me, you gonna want that after hiking around. But above every thing are the good people who's running this place. I'll book there 10 times again.

The lady that runs it is amazing, very helpful and sweet. The place is spotless and it has comfy beds. There's a Mexican restaurant nearby. It's 6mins a bit up the hill - from the bus station but it's a bit far from town centre. I used it for one night coming back from El Chalten and taking flight the next day to Santiago.

They were so efficient and proactive in communication via whatsapp The location was superb, only a few steps from the bus station. The entire bldg is new and modern. The bedrooom and bathoom were large, modern and clean; plenty of hot water; beds were comfortable. heater worked well; free breakfast; bright and pleasant lobby with large windiws; 24 hour reception; two huge common kitchens; luggage storage; kind cheerful good looking English speaking staff were happy to answer our questions. They helped us with buying national park entrance tickets online and helped us communicating with our hotel in El Chalten. We appreciated their help so much. After 11pm, it was so quiet and we slept well. We liked everything about this hostel.
