Conveniently located directly in the pedestrian zone in Füssen, Bavaria City Hostel offers free WiFi, stylish dormitories and a terrace. It is only 300 metres from Füssen Train Station. We have probably never encountered a hostel that has everything so perfectly organized and arranged. Information and descriptions are posted everywhere (and we mean everywhere), so if you don't know something, just look around and you're sure to find detailed instructions for anything nearby. Everything is clean, tidy, and equipped appropriately for a hostel, not a hotel, so it's simpler. Thanks to the perfect information provision, it doesn't matter at all that the reception is only staffed during limited hours; self-check-in and check-out are completely hassle-free. The gentleman at the reception was very nice, and although we only met him briefly, he left a great impression. There is a shared kitchen with limited electricity availability (schedule posted). Luggage storage after check-out is no problem. The location of the hostel is excellent, right in the center of Füssen, yet close to the train station. We were thrilled with our stay here and very satisfied.

Set within the medieval city walls of Füssen, the Old Kings Design Hostel offers individually themed rooms. The modern hostel is just a 5-minute walk from the train station and free WiFi is provided. The location is top-notch sitting in the middle of the middle age town (and close to where it originated). Also easy access to train station. There are quite a few nice restaurants around. The room is very spacious and not crowded even with 8 people in it. It was very quiet at night and roommates are disciplined. I had two nights of good sleeps that I haven’t had for months…
