This is a wonderful location and fine facility to use as a base for exploring Hallstatt and Dachstein-Krippenstein, both of which are just a few minutes drive away. The staff were incredibly friendly (including when we were about 20 minutes late for our check-in and a kind lady stayed late to meet us). Our family of 5 stayed in two rooms, which were large and very clean. They were essentially nice dorm rooms, each with 3 single beds and a private bath. It is a pretty location with nice views of the mountains. We also appreciated the parking available for our rental car. Hallstatt is about a 5 minute drive up the road. Because we were so close, we were able to get to Hallstatt early in the day to find a good parking spot in Park Platz 2 (very near the funicular up to the salt mine) before the crowds arrived.
