Landing Pads Brunswick in Melbourne provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Located around 3 km from Melbourne Zoo, the hostel with free WiFi is also 5.5 km away from Melbourne City Conference Centre. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. Landing Pads really stood by its name as it was my go-to hostel and helped me to settle into life in Melbourne. I first stayed here when I first moved to Melbourne (back during Guilly's time, the GOAT), extending for a month, and then in-between share houses. The people and volunteers are lovely, and it's definitely sociable enough for you to either be an extrovert drinking in the garden or an introvert (me) watching the telly in the living room together. Plenty of social events and the weekly family dinner, so you'll never go bored! Also it's right by Sydney Road - so many great places and shops around. I met so many people who only intended to stay for a while ending up staying for a long time, shows how special the hostel is to them

Flinders Backpackers is conveniently set in the centre of Melbourne, and provides a bar and free WiFi. The property is located 400 metres from St Paul's Cathedral, 200 metres from Flinders Street Station and 600 metres from Eureka Tower. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and a 24-hour front desk for guests. Great location! Staff was nice and there’s loads to do. Impressed by how clean and easy it was to use the kitchen considering how many people were using it. It was a bit challenging to find a spot on the shelf for my groceries but there was so much turn over that it worked out. Bathrooms everywhere and they provide a hair dryer and straightener in the ladies bathroom. Drag bingo is free to play and an absolute riot! I met so many amazing travelers and would absolutely recommend flinders and would stay there forsure when I make it back to Melbourne!

The Mansion Melbourne is attractively set in the centre of Melbourne, and features a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 5-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space. The property is non-smoking and is situated 400 metres from Princess Theatre. Superb staff, squeaky clean, comfortable beds, and an amazing vibe..this place is the most happening place in Melbourne...The rooms are quiet, while the kitchen and the bar are just too vibrant..The staff are too friendly, and it seemed as though the coolest solo travelers from all over the world had assembled here to share stories and help each other. Thank you soooo much for making my first experience of staying in hostels so very memorable for me...Cannot wait to go back sooooon!!!!
