The hostel's location is perfection, with the building itself adding to the immersive experience of the historic quayside. Walking distance and accessible to pretty much everything. Friendly staff; Jens being an absolute hero for going beyond to help when I found that I had left stuff at the airport, and his recommendations are top! The room doesn't have a view, but it was comfortable and cosy enough. The common area has an amazing view and was homely and warm - I especially liked that it had different sections that suited various needs and moods.

Located right in Ghent's city centre, KaBa Hostel features a garden with a terrace and offers rooms with free WiFi 1 km from the Vrijdagmarkt Square and Ghent's City Council. It is a beautiful hostel, I really enjoyed my stay. It is close to tram station and also a bus stop, and a shopping centre (it is close to the centre). They have a nice chilling area downstairs next to the kitchen with a couch. I stayed in room 1.1 (6 beds) and I loved that the bathroom and shower were separate and in the corridor, it really makes it easier for everyone. They were also only for our room.

I really liked my stay at the facility. It’s very clean, staff is super friendly and helpful. Pretty quiet at night and breakfast is rich. The rooms and halls are spacious, working elevator is such a big plus. The location is good, the train station is near and Alcatraz festival site is 30 minutes walk
