The staff has been very kind and professional, ready to help us meet our tight schedule on the day...we made it! The breakfast is good, with bread, different types of cheese, ham, fruit, cereals, and coffee (or tea). We now have a new level of standards when visiting hostels, thank you!

If you are willing to share space, this is a better option for a solo travelor than the loneliness of a hotel room. There is nice, authentic Belgium bar attached to the hostel In particular, Alistair was exceptionally helpful. I came to Bruges to learn, and I think I learned more from him than my guided tour and all the museums. It is amazing how the knowledge and kindness of a single person you meet when traveling can make the trip so much more rewarding.

Hostel Lybeer Private Rooms just for two! is located in the Historical Centre of Bruges. The accommodation offers newly renovated rooms, daily activities, and 19th century lounge room with a bar were guests can enjoy a drink. it was a literally excellent experience.

Jeugdherberg De Peerdevisser is located in Oostduinkerke, 39 km from Bruges and 20 km from Ostend. The beach is a 10 minute walk away. Oostduinkerke is one of the only places in the world where fishermen still catch shrimps with a horse. Great location, clean , friendly staff and good value for money
