We were very fortunate indeed as Ivone and Freddy accepted our reservation ahead of their decision to close for a month to renovate. So we had their beautiful personal attention although it seems from reviews (and the greetings from all over the world that have been drawn by past guests and which hang in the cafeteria) that they truly appreciate their guests and treat them all like family. Ivone cooked a very tasty dinner, in the attached cafeteria, for a small price. Breakfast was simple but we enjoyed. Nice shower with hot water. Comfy and spacious double room. Very quiet. We managed with our Spanglish and Freddy speaks English too. Organised us into a taxi to the bus terminal. I am sure all will go well for them with the renovation. I am glad we stayed, albeit only one night. We were headed for Uyuni for our tour. No need to rush to Tupiza when Villazon is quite a nice border town to travel from after a rest and a hug. Location was great. Very clean. Hot showers. Big and good breakfast. Very friendly reception and staff.
