Located in Praia do Forte, this hostel is 350 metres from Praia do Forte Beach. It features free WiFi and daily buffet breakfast. This is a wonderful hostel centrally located in Praia do Forte recognized by Hostelling International that has a variety of accommodation options. I spent 3 weeks as a solo senior (65 yrs old ) traveller here in a room with a private bathroom. My room was spacious and clean with a smart TV, efficient air conditioning, ceiling fan, comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The bathroom had great water pressure and the shower had plenty of hot water. The included breakfast buffet had a nice variety of delicious food including vegetarian options. The staff at the hostel were all courteous, accommodating, professional and many spoke excellent English including the very friendly owner/manager Paulo. The wifi connection here was excellent. The hostel has bicycles available to rent. Residents of the hostel get huge discounts on many attractions and businesses in the Praia do Forte vicinity. There was a terrific self service laundry (Lavo) just steps away. This is a fantastic place to stay for solo budget travellers like myself, couples or families with children. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this quiet well managed hostel and would definitely return when visiting Praia do Forte.

Dendê Jazz Hostel e Pousada tọa lạc giáp biển ở Morro de São Paulo, cách Pháo đài Morro de Sao Paulo 1.7 km và Công viên Aureliano Lima Square 13 phút đi bộ. I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at Dende Jazz. Fran, our lovely host, made us feel comfortable and at home from the very beginning. He offered us two different rooms at the same price so we were able to pick the one we liked more. The breakfast was simple but perfect (eggs, bread, ham, cheese, fresh fruit and fruit juice, tea, coffee and fried plantains). The location is maybe 25m from Praia 3 and a very short walk to the other beaches. Our room was so nice; super clean, comfortable, great a/c, nice balcony with a hammock and all to ourselves. Fran also informed us about the nightlife in town. Highly recommend!

I stayed here for about a month and really loved every moment of it. Casa das Irmãs is a beautiful, calm, natural, quiet living space with comfortable beds and a very well-stocked communal kitchen. I loved the yoga/recreation space and I really enjoyed taking classes there for affordable and fair prices! Such a beautiful community of women and artists. Every part of the place is also extremely clean and comfortable! I also loved the beautiful trees all around, and it’s super close to a lovely waterfall (princesinha). Walk to town is 15-20 mins but it’s fine and it’s nice to be a bit farther away. There’s a little produce/grocery store right across the way, so it is no issue. I really loved it.
