Casa das Irmãs is a beautiful, calm, natural, quiet living space with comfortable beds and a very well-stocked communal kitchen. I loved the yoga/recreation space and I really enjoyed taking classes there for affordable and fair prices! Such a beautiful community of women and artists. Every part of the place is also extremely clean and comfortable! I also loved the beautiful trees all around, and it’s super close to a lovely waterfall (princesinha). Walk to town is 15-20 mins but it’s fine and it’s nice to be a bit farther away. There’s a little produce/grocery store right across the way, so it is no issue. I really loved it.

They are relaxing but when you need help, they are there for you. When my ride didn’t show up for my overnight bus, they volunteered to drive me to the bus station without accepting anything from me! The garden at the hostel is a wonderful place with hammock and chairs/table. You can tell both bathrooms are cleaned regularly as they do live at the same premise. Overall I had a great stay there and would highly recommend this place.
