The owner is very nice, she gave me lots of information before i arrive. The snorkeling tour from the hostel was amazing. We had 5 long stops and stayed there until sunset. We didn’t feel rushed and had lots of time to explore the marine life which was great. AC and bathroom in the dorm. Very clean dorm and kitchen. Quiet at night.

This a hostel/hotel/bar & restaurant, so you have everything you need in one place. It was really clean, in a great location, super friendly and helpful staff (my ferry to MX got cancelled and they gave me great advice on how to move on), happy hour deals, good WiFi, separate showers and bathrooms, free water refills. The beds had lockers under them, some locker doors were really small and could not fit a big backpack, some could. Also, each bed had privacy cutrains, little table for your personal items & power outlets, reading light, free towels. No wonder it is hard to book a stay here, for 15 USD this is an amazing place! I arrived here from San Ignacio, and random people (locals) in the bus were all recommending Sandbar when they heard I am headed to San Pedro, so, you know this place is famous and for a very good reason!

We have been to the others on the island and this is by far the cleanest and tidiest. It’s super well equipped with a kitchen, extra showers and toilets, and an outdoor seating area. The staff clean the rooms every day and there are fans available, with AC switched on from 6pm-8am while I was there. Really recommend!
