The staff here are amazing—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room is a bit tight for the number of beds, but it’s manageable. Adding privacy curtains to the bunk beds would make a big difference, especially given the limited space. The facilities are decent and kept clean. It’s conveniently located near the bus station. The location is great—away from the hustle and chaos of the town center and closer to the mountains, just the way I like it. Overall, it’s a great value for money and a solid spot to meet other backpackers and solo travelers.

The location of the hostel is exceptional: very secluded in the woods, on a fairly steep slope of SW exposure, lots of sunshine day time (even in winter :-), beautiful view from the deck towards Three Sisters. Main lodge and the cabins are built in classic alpine style. The place is far enough from the hwy not to hear it but close enough to downtown Canmore (5 min or so). The interior of the main lodge is very cozy and stylish (wood), too; the common use rooms are nicely decorated, etc. The staff is very welcoming and helpful.

All rooms at the hostel are fitted with a shared bathroom and bed linen. I had a wonderful time experiencing this wilderness hostel. The place and surroundings is beautiful and very well equipped.

Cute and remote location, very cosy and good atmosphere, feels like home, chimney is nice and warm, you can tell people staying there feel like a family/ friend group. Very clean, all the equipment you need, comfy bed.

A fully licensed bar and restaurant as well as a fully equipped common guest kitchen are available on site. Free Wi-Fi is included. The breakfast was cute, staff was super friendly, had a good time. shampoo conditioner and body wash, towels all included.
