The hotel is a family owned and run (all female) business and they’ve done an amazing job! Erica (Mum) is so helpful and responsive. It’s in a great area of Toronto and easy to get downtown, either via walking or streetcar. So many little shops and restaurants are close by so you don’t even have to head downtown if you don’t want to! Would highly recommend and would come back in an instant when returning to Toronto.

The rooms were also airy and comfortable. The staff was cooperative and helpful throughout my stay. One particular moment really stood out: after an exhausting day, I accidentally left my mobile phone unsecured and found it on the floor the next morning—untouched. This gave me a strong impression that the environment is safe and the guests here are trustworthy. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. One of the nice features is that guests can prepare their own eggs or other light meals if they wish to. Overall, I had a very good stay and would definitely recommend this place, especially for solo travelers looking for a clean, secure, and friendly environment.
