Situado muito perto de margens do Rio Reno, este design hostel fica ao lado da antiga porta da cidade de St. Alban. Amazing experience. I stayed here for three nights in a room for six. Hostel, surprisingly a large building, is located in old and peaceful part of Basel. It's within short walking distance to Rhein river, Munster cathedral and Kunstmuseum tram station. I was given Basel Card at the reception which granted me free access to public transport and 50% discount to all museums. I really liked my room and my bed and I didn't mind the fact there were no curtains. Design of the room is really smart, as personal lockers and sink are separated from the beds/sleeping area with a wooden doors, thus keeping the noise at minimum. To add up, no check-ins are possible after 23:30 which allows you to sleep tight. Toilets and washrooms are on the same floor, just outside of the room in the hall. Breakfast starts at 6.00 am which I found really handy as I checked out early for my flight. Staff was really professional. You can also buy souvenirs at the reception and umbrella as well. I will definitely book again when I come back to Basel. Thank you, Hostel!

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. A capsula que fiquei, sensacional… sem contar a limpeza e a disponibilização de toalha todo dia. Fiquei 3 noites e foi super tranquilo, o check in foi fácil e muito rápido, cheguei antes e eles disponibilizaram um cacifo para deixar minhas coisas até da a hora e as fechaduras digitais 10/10. Super recomendo e quando for novamente a basel, com toda certeza irei me hospedar lá.

O Basel Backpack está alojado numa fábrica histórica remodelada, apenas a 10 minutos da principal estação ferroviária de Basileia. Like probably most people, I came there mainly cause of the price and this was my first stay at a hostel. I didn't expect much yet when I arrived I got much more than (I thought) I paid for. Destination is great, right next to both a tram and bus stop. Rooms had many beds but never felt crowded. We all got lockers for our stuff. Whole hostel was clean and had a cool urban vibe. Apart from the showers, there was also a community stove, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board... everything you would need. Staff was super friendly. Everyone could take free coffee or tea at the lobby and the buffet breakfast was only 8CHF per day, which is cheap for Swiss standards. And on top of all that, everyone gets the Basel Card which gives a bunch of amenities in the city. Oh and also, the receptionist, on the day I was leaving, had a cool hat.

I had a few hour connection in Basel. I thought since it is so cheap I am going into a scam, but it was very decent comfortable and worth the price.

This is the perfect place if you are staying for a few days, and are out and about during the day and evening. Big room, high ceilings, very clean, good mattress and pillows, and linen. There is a new kitchen with all the amenities, even a coffee machine! New bathroom with shower, cleaned every day. Within easy walk of the main train station and trams/bus.

Basel-Stadt Gundeldingen Zimmer 404, localiza-se em Basileia, a cerca de 2,8 km de Pfalz Basel e 1,7 km de Museu da Arquitetura. Wonderful! I love that it has a kitchen, refrigerator, stove just like at home.
