Situated in Basel and with Messe Basel reachable within 1.2 km, Silo Design & Boutique Hostel Basel features express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a living room, free WiFi throughout the... Everything was great, but the service in particular was outstanding - many thanks to Hilde and Nadine! I mainly stayed here because of the unusual design (I love an old industrial building!) and it did not disappoint on that score. The journey into the city centre was also very easy from SILO; I did it about six times in three days. I chose Basel solely because of its rail connections, but am glad that I took time in the end to explore - it's a wonderful and friendly city.

Set very close to banks of the River Rhine, this designer hostel is next to the old city gate of St. Alban. Location was great, only few minutes walk from Münster, one of the main attractions in Basel. Everything in the hostel was very clean, bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways. Employees are very helpful.

I thought since it is so cheap I am going into a scam, but it was very decent comfortable and worth the price.
