Situated in Basel and with Messe Basel reachable within 1.2 km, Silo Design & Boutique Hostel Basel features express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a living room, free WiFi throughout the... The design of the place is absolutely stunning. It is an actual silo used for coco beans about a 100 years ago. If you are facinated with urban and industrial aesthetics - this place is for you! I liked self check-in process - it is perfect for me, as I prefer less interactions. Everything was available online with simple intructions. The room was spacious enough and big round window is amazing. Cute and healthy breakfast was included. Don't forget to ask for your Basel card for free public transport and museum discounts.

Set very close to banks of the River Rhine, this designer hostel is next to the old city gate of St. Alban. I reached the hotel by walking from the train station, the location was very good. My room was clean, quiet and quite adequate. The breakfast was quite sufficient and delicious. I was very happy with my choice.

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. The people here are very nice!

The decor was exceptional, the space had a lot of charm, the neighbourhood was quite unique, and easily accessible from the main station whether you're arriving on foot or on public transit. As a bonus, as part of the stay I received a card which provided access to complimentary use of public transit within Basel. Everything was clean, organized, important information clearly provided by staff and well signed where appropriate. Additionally, they were happy to offer suggestions or recommendations about how to fill your time while in town - great ambassadors for Basel.
