Situated in Basel and with Messe Basel reachable within 1.2 km, Silo Design & Boutique Hostel Basel features express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a living room, free WiFi throughout the... Super cool place with large shared rooms maybe the biggest one I ever stayed. The facilities are very new and smart, everything were in good place. Staffs are super nice and friendly, hospitality like at home.

Set very close to banks of the River Rhine, this designer hostel is next to the old city gate of St. Alban. I reached the hotel by walking from the train station, the location was very good. My room was clean, quiet and quite adequate. The breakfast was quite sufficient and delicious. I was very happy with my choice.

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. It was the self check in and check in online which is a great help and it is flexible too.

Note that the rosettes in Switzerland are of a slightly different type. The free public transport card provided to guests is a real lifesaver. Breakfast can be ordered for an additional fee (CHF 8). Common spaces are cozy, clean, well maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly. In the context of Swiss prices, the price of accommodation is not very high (city tax - CHF 4 per night - paid at the reception).

There is a new kitchen with all the amenities, even a coffee machine! New bathroom with shower, cleaned every day. Within easy walk of the main train station and trams/bus.
