The design of the place is absolutely stunning. It is an actual silo used for coco beans about a 100 years ago. If you are facinated with urban and industrial aesthetics - this place is for you! I liked self check-in process - it is perfect for me, as I prefer less interactions. Everything was available online with simple intructions. The room was spacious enough and big round window is amazing. Cute and healthy breakfast was included. Don't forget to ask for your Basel card for free public transport and museum discounts.

Set very close to banks of the River Rhine, this designer hostel is next to the old city gate of St. Alban. Good location, very nice hostel, recommendation.

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. The location is perfect. The set up of a place is great as well. Very helpful staff.
