Set in Interlaken, 19 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Chalet Hostel @ Backpackers Villa Interlaken offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is 80 metres from the city centre and 21 km from Giessbachfälle. The best hostel so far i stayed. Its super clean and very friendly well behaved staff. Its in my favorite list for my future stays.

At the hostel, each room includes a desk. Guest rooms have a wardrobe. I loved this accomodation so much! Me and my partner stayed here for two nights and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The hotel is in an amazing location and the walk there is very scenic. There is a farmer not too far away who sells amazing local handmade goods at a reasonable price, as well as a gorgeous lookout point. It has an amazing living/dining room area with comfortable sofas, beautiful wooden furniture and a piano you can play. The whole place is very homey, warm and soulful. We both loved the vibes of it! The shared kitchen is very well equipped, it has everything one could possibly need - even a fondue maker! The hosts are also very kind and helpful. They were cheerful, eager to give us recommendations regarding what is worth to see in the region and to help us navigate the town. This place exceeded all out expectations, and if we're lucky enough to go back to Wengen someday, we already know where we're staying :)

Boasting a bar and views of mountain, Schutzenbach Backpackers For Adults 18-34 years only is situated in Lauterbrunnen, 16 km from Grindelwald Terminal. 32 km from Giessbachfälle and less than 1 km from Staubbach Falls, the hostel features ski storage space. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The location is great and the owner/ staff were friendly. Can’t wait to stay here next year.

Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Walters Hostel Interlaken also offer a mountain view. Guest rooms include a safety deposit box. The host Marsielle is very hospitable. The apartment is cosy & clean; the kitchen is well equipped. The bus stop is just a few minutes' walk away. It is very convenient to go anywhere and yet a quiet environment. We rented 4 bikes from the host for half a day & biked to Iseltwald. The rental was CHF10/bike/half day, very reasonable. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Situated in a historic building only 100 metres from the famous Zytglogge Tower, the Bern Backpackers Hotel Glocke can be found right in the centre of the city. It offers free WiFi in public areas and all rooms, 2 internet stations and a fully equipped kitchen for self catering use.

You can choose from en-suite rooms, rooms with shared bathrooms or a single bed in a dormitory. The entire hostel is non-smoking. Very cosy and friendly hostel. Baths and toilets always clean. The same can be said about the kitchen and common area. Localised in strict center so it's great start for any tour. There is locker assigned to each bed which easily fits even big 80l backpacks. There is washing machine and dryer available. You'll get 25% discount for Rathause Parking when staying at hostel. All staff members were super friendly and helpful. I would like especially thank and give Shoutout to the one from Finland 😉

Reopened in April 2018 after extensive refurbishment and surrounded by a quiet garden with a terrace outdoor chess and morris, this youth hostel in the centre of Bern is just a 5-minute walk from the Swiss Parliament and the Aare River. Free Wi-Fi is available. Nice atmosphere. Not far from the train station. Spacious room and lockers available. Second time we stayed this week. Would stay again.

Only 1.5 km from the ski lifts, this youth hostel is located in Grindelwald. The sun terrace and the lovely breakfast room have beautiful views of the Bernese Alps. Packed lunches are available.

All rooms at Youth Hostel Grindelwald have wooden furniture and offer nice mountain views. The view from the room is awesome, just right at the mountain view! The breakfast is amazing, it's buffet, they offer bread, fresh eggs, fruits and yogurt, all you can eat. There is a bus station just right at the hostel, but we love the trail from the hostel to Grindelwald station, we enjoy walking there.
