We had room number one and woke up with an amazing view onto the alps so close you can almost touch them. The kitchen is really well equipped. We picked up some supplies for breakfast. Instant coffee, sugar, salt, herbal teas were already there in abundance. Plus they sell local cheese directly from the kitchen fridge. Also, when we left, I had forgotten my purse! The owner came running after us (a good 500 m) to bring it to me! That's what I call SERVICE!

And the cherry on top? They happily stored our luggage after checkout, letting us explore carefree. Don’t let the size fool you—this place has heart, location, and all the little touches that turn a stay into a memory. 10/10, would (and will) return in a heartbeat!

Reopened in April 2018 after extensive refurbishment and surrounded by a quiet garden with a terrace outdoor chess and morris, this youth hostel in the centre of Bern is just a 5-minute walk from the... I absolutely love this hostel. Every thing is perfect. Good location & very friendly staff 🥰
