The decoration, the lighting, the wonderful big kitchen with so many different things to cook with! The lovely dining room to eat meals or just relax. The beds were super comfortable and good storage space for luggage. It was only a short walk to Wengen and the ability to access walking trails, bike hire or shops so the location was fantastic and such beautiful views. We were shown wonderful hospitality and even given a few suggestions for activities we could do the day we left.

Very well located. Beautiful view of the mountains and hills. Can walk to Grindelwald First and the hike and/or gondola to get up to Pfingstegg. Owners are friendly. They make delicious breakfast and help with suggestions. I would stay again

No lift from the ground floor to the reception, but a small lift is available from reception to the dorms. Anyway the stay was comfortable

Reopened in April 2018 after extensive refurbishment and surrounded by a quiet garden with a terrace outdoor chess and morris, this youth hostel in the centre of Bern is just a 5-minute walk from the... I really enjoyed my stay here, I had my own room and found it very cosy and spacious. It was easy to find from the Bern train station and easy to explore Bern by foot. I liked the view of the river from the room. Overall I recommend this hostel
