Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. I spend 3 nights in the Hostel and had amazings and completely different evenings each day, i got one bed in the shared room and it was full booked but everyone was respectful and tried their best to be quiet in the early morning and past midnight as well! The vibes are immaculate, all the staff is super kind and helpful. The hole idea of the hostel is to have a break, to share a good time and to know people while you are adventuring, exploring, learning. I think that’s why most of us left so happy and in peace at the same time. The beds are comfortable, they’ll provide a towel and a locker and there’re enough plugs for everyone. The kitchen has microwaves, water heater and two fridges to store your food and the supermarket is close, like a 10 min walk or two stops if you use the bus, which is right next to the reception. I’m so glad i choose this Hostel and hope i’ll come back

All rooms at Youth Hostel Grindelwald have wooden furniture and offer nice mountain views. Very comfortable beds with friendly staff . Breakfast was awesome , also serve dinner (17CHF which I think is reasonable). The amenities were very clean, no issues . There were also lockers you can use with a deposit 2CHF if needed . Oh the view of the great Eiger from the hostel and the dining place is priceless , worth every dime !!

Nice dinner room with a lot of space. The breakfast was nice and they also offer cost efficient meal for the area

You can choose between private rooms and single beds in a dormitory. Bed linen is provided, you will have to dress and undress your beds yourselves. Showers and toilets are located on every floor (basement, 1st and 2nd floor). Very clean. Staff were friendly and pleasant. things were organised.

The Berggasthaus First offers simply furnished dormitory rooms with bright wooden furniture, shared bathroom facilities, a ski bar, and a lounge. Free WiFi is available in public areas and the guest house offers direct access to the ski slopes. Ski passes are not included in the room price. It was one of the best hotel experiences of my whole life. Yes, this is a hotel located 2,200 meters above sea level, but the quality of the services is on another level, and I feel that I am in a good 3-star hotel. The staff is so friendly and makes every effort to help everyone feel at home. The dinner menu was so tasty and it was the perfect choice for the end of the evening. The breakfast was excellent and delicious. The Berggasthaus First was my complete dream of sleeping in a wonderful place in the Alps. Also, the property is incredibly clean and comfortable to stay. It was a quiet place at night, and we slept like "babies". Everything was perfect, and the communication with Yanis and Julien was a gift from God. There are so many funny stories and positive vibes. I won't forget that, and if I visit the Grindelwald area again, it's a must for me to return to Berggasthaus First. Best Regards
