It was very close to the railway station, supermarket and the lauterbrunen waterfall. The room was clean. The staff was friendly abd the shared kitchen and dining was well equipped and organized conveniently.

Built in typical Alpine style, the Naturfreunde Hostel Grindelwald provides panoramic views of the Eiger and Wetterhorn mountains. It offers a large garden and free use of the internet terminal. Everything, it has the best view directly to the mountains. The place is warm and cozy, the bus arrives and leaves just in front of the hostel.

Located at 2,200 metres above sea level, Berggasthaus First offers panoramic views of the Jungfrau region and the Swiss Alps. I can't even begin to tell you the words. This place is heaven on earth and if not, it gets damn close. The walk to the lake takes an hour, you can slide and have the fun of your life with newly forged friendships, have the best meal ever in the restaurant and get to meet the wonderful staff and the local population there, watch the sunset at the lake or watch the sunrise if you wake up early in your bed. The day you will spend here will be one for the ages, please don't miss out!
