The owners are so friendly you could not ask for a better stay. Price to value of Hostel Engelberg cannot be beat in Switzerland - at least the parts that I have seen.

A ski school and the European Walking Tours Office are reachable within a 2-minute walk. Great stay, helpful staff, they let me stay by myself in a dorm and gave me an early check-in, breakfast was also very good. Less than 10mon walk to the cable car and 5 minutes to the train station. Would definitely come back!
