This was my first European visit. This was my first hostel. Wow, I never need a hotel again. The room could not be more, Clean & and sheets, professionally cleaned & pressed I was greeted as I walked in. I was offed a towel, as it was raining. The courtesy was genuine & sincere.

Very friendly family that runs the hotel/hostel. Because it was still low season we got a free upgrade to a better room which is always a nice surprise. The room was very comfortable and the location is fantastic. There is also a lovely little common area where you can watch TV and enjoy a free selection of teas.

At the hostel, all rooms have a desk. With a shared bathroom fitted with a shower, rooms at Allegro Alpin Lodge also have free WiFi, while some rooms also offer a lake view. All guest rooms feature a wardrobe. Super nice surroundings, very nice hotel, excellent food/restaurant.

Located in Engelberg, 500 metres from the Titlis Rotair Cable Car, Engelberg Youth Hostel features a buffet restaurant and a summer terrace. A ski school and the European Walking Tours Office are reachable within a 2-minute walk. The hostel is located close to the Engelberg center. Everything is reachable by foot. The facilities were super clean. The dinner menu was very good value for Switzerland and breakfast had a large variety of food. I would definetely stay there again. Lockers are big enough, except for huge suitcases.

The hotel reception is located in the hotel opposite Espen. If the reception is closed, use the emergency phone.
