Only a few steps from the lakeside promenade, the Youth Hostel Montreux can be found 400 metres south of the Montreux-Territet Train and Funicular Station. The room is very clean and comfortable. Although the toilet and shower are shared, I appreciate the privacy they offer at the hostel, which makes me feel at ease. The breakfast is good with nice ambience. It has locker FOC for you to use upon check-in or check-out. The hostel is next to the lake with nice view.

I booked a bed in 4-bed mixed room, but instead was given a bed in a 2-bed room for women! It was a nice and cozy room. Luckily for me my neighbour only stayed half of the first night, and I spent the rest of my say alone in the room. Location of the hostel is great. Showers were good. Rooms are well sound isolated. Kitchen is well stocked.

Just 50 metres from the shore of Lake Geneva, the Vevey Hotel occupies a 19th-century mansion in the historic centre of Vevey. It offers free Wi-Fi and a bar with a terrace overlooking the lake. This place was great. Right off the Via Francigena. Nice big room and we even had a view of the lake.

Just 100 metres from Lake Geneva, this youth hostel in Lausanne enjoys a quiet location in a park with direct lake access. It offers free Wi-Fi in public areas. Greate atmosphare. Nice staff. Good breakfast. One of the cheapest accomodation in Lausanne. I would return there everytime.
