Surrounded by a lush garden, the Youth Hostel Locarno is 1.5 km away from the train station and the Lake Maggiore. i had to check in late due to a late night train, but the staffs were super helpful in ensuring that i manage to check in by myself. got a shared dorm all by myself and i thought the staffs were very considerate because i was pretty worried that i would wake the roommate during late night if i had one.

EasyRooms is situated in the heart of Locarno, directly beside the Dell’Angelo Hotel on the Piazza Grande. Lovely hotel in the very centre of the old town. Very good option for a budget traveller. The room had everything we needed, the mattresses were very good and the room was very clean. But the most important thing about the hotel is the staff. Despite the fact that we were very late check in, they waited for us and were very nice to us. I can 100% recommend this hotel. And if you take into account the price of the room, this hotel is even more attractive.
