Surrounded by a large garden, Youthhostel Lugano features an outdoor pool with deckchairs and sunshades, as well as children’s playground and volleyball, badminton and table tennis facilities. Excellent hosts and warm welcoming nature. We had a wonderful & comfortable stay. The loving host lady also took the trouble to drop us to the train station in time for our onward journey. The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. The location of Lugano Lakeside Villa was a strategic starting point for exploring the city's cultural and recreational offerings.
