Surrounded by a large garden, Youthhostel Lugano features an outdoor pool with deckchairs and sunshades, as well as children’s playground and volleyball, badminton and table tennis facilities. Very friendly staff who made me feel welcomed not only to the hostel but also to the city. Ticino ticket that enables free public transport is a really good invention and I suggest strongly other tourists to use it.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Wonderful stay at the Continental Parkhotel with great views and a beautiful room
