World-famous Matterhorn Mountain can be viewed from Youth Hostel Zermatt. Ski lifts as well as Zermatt city centre are a 10-minute walk away. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The view is amazing, the location too, just a quick walk to the city center, all that you need is there - also enjoyed the dinner that you can book extra.

The location requires a bit of advanced planning (arriving to the Cabane skiing, with everything on a backpack), but once we were there, everything was perfect. Rooms, toilets and showers are very clean. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and there is a very good ambiance among all the different staff members. We have two vegetarian and one vegan in our family and the chef organized something special at each dinner. A special thanks to Mahrez, Noémie, Adrien and Dorian that took so well care about us.

Opened on 16 June 2017, Crans-Montana Youth Hostel is located in a historic hotel building with 3 terrasses with mountain and lake views, a restaurant and a bar. I liked that it was close to the slope, the breakfast was so delicious, comfy rooms, clean bathrooms. Highly recommended
