The best place I've ever stayed in the mountains, I arrived late as I got a little lost on my bike. The owner made me spaghetti bolognese after the kitchen had closed, I am really thankful for that after a hard day on the bike. The situation and setting of the place is incredible. Straight away you can walk up the mountains, bike or just relax. I wish I'd stayed there for longer. I actually had the dormitory to myself and he still made me breaking at 7-30 just me in the restaurant. Proper mountain breakfast and then a walk up to almost 3000m!

World-famous Matterhorn Mountain can be viewed from Youth Hostel Zermatt. Ski lifts as well as Zermatt city centre are a 10-minute walk away. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. It was really hard to reach the hotel and a bit of walking but it was 10000% worth it!! The staffs were really friendly and polite at the same time, which was comfortable for us. Also I highly recommend to get the room with Matterhorn view. We could see the Matterhorn from the room in the morning it was so beautiful. I would like to come back:))
