Rooms have a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV is available. The owner was extremely nice and helpful and always cheerful and accommodating. The city center is a 7-10 min walk but there are convenient stores on the street and a Peruvian restaurant right around the block that served good food for the price in comparison to city center. There is a community kitchen where you can prepare your own food, tea or coffee. The wifi worked well as did the hot water. during the winter there is no central heat (normal throughout the town) so a space heater and blankets will be what keeps you warm.

Good wifi connection and a very nice breakfast. The owners let us stay in the room during the afternoon after our checkout because it was raining. Overall, very good experience.

Right in the center and close to everthing. The staff are realy kind and helpfull. The rooms are great, i stayed in a 4 bed doorm- the beds are comfy, you have shelves for your things and lockers. The kitchen is well equipped and you have place to store your food. It has hammocks to chill and outdoor furniture to relax after your daily tours. And for me the most importent thing in a hotel or hostel- its very very clean!!! If youll miss breakfast cos you have an early tour- they will prepare you a take away bag with- sandwich, cereal bar, yogurt and juice box.

The hostel is 1.1 km from both R.P. Gustavo Le Paige Archeological Museum and Inca House. Mrs. Elvira, who attended to us, was very sweet and attentive, always in a good mood and with a smile on her face. Although it is located far from the town's center, the hotel is like a refuge, there is not much movement and it is very peaceful. It is possible to rent bicycles to go faster to the town centre, although we didn't rent one, we went on foot. They seemed to be doing some work to improve the space, but more improvements were needed in the surroundings. The street needed to be significantly improved, but it's not the hotel's fault. I highly recommend it if you want to spend a few days, there is parking for your car. TIP for travellers: San Pedro de Atacama seems to be a calm place, there is a lot to see and getting around by car seems to be a much more pleasant option than rushing around on tours. Shower water is hot during the day, and at night it takes a little longer to heat up. Self-service breakfast and complete. Elvira kindly prepared the table for us each morning.

The hostel is located in a tranquil area right next to a grocery store. Gustavo Le Paige museum is a 5-minute walk away. Calama Airport is approximately a 1-hour drive away. Shuttle services can be arranged for an extra fee. Rodrigo is very organized as such everything runs very smoothly especially with so many people using the kitchen. He is exceptionally helpful and caring. He follows up and makes great suggestions on tours as well as organizing the shuttle bus. Breakfast is generous and delicious. As well he offers real coffee.
