This is also a very social hostel—I easily met other travelers in the common area. We even shared a big lunch. The breakfast they offer is both delicious and filling. I extended my stay because I was so comfortable here. The value you get is truly priceless. The hosts are incredibly attentive and helped me with anything I needed. The property is non-smoking and is set 5 km from Tianmen Mountain Ticket Office. An incredible warm welcome, I couldn't dream better for my very first trip to China! The hotel is nice and clean. The staff is very available: they helped me install WeChat, assisted me in buying tickets to visit the famous "Avatar Mountains" and even offered to drive me to the station with their personal car to avoid taking the bus or taxi. Border Town International Youth Hostel Fenghuang Ancient City Bar Street Branch features accommodation in Fenghuang. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. I arrived close to midnight and was given a private room instead of a bunk bed in a dorm, probably to not disturb others sleeping. The staff also provided an extension cable with the appropriate socket for my charger. The location was truly excellent, in the midst of the old town but on a side street, so not nousy as it can be with bars and singing thru late evening.

Staffs were super helpful, shout out to Dewy and An who helped me a lot in this trip. They answer my endless questions with ease and booked lots of attractions with discounted price! I met many friends from this hostel and we had a dinner two nights in a row. Hostel is so close to the East Gate and restaurants. Across the hostel, there's breakfast place and supermarket that sells some breads. It really felt like home away from home.
