Thank you very much for the gifts. The place is new and just as it appears in the pictures—amazing, clean, organized, and smells great, with attention to the smallest details. There are no mistakes. What’s great about the hostel is that they have branches everywhere. I have visited their branches in other cities as well, so you won’t have trouble finding accommodation in other cities—just look for them.

Highly recommended by the Lonely Planet Guidebook, Teddy Bear Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Mount Emei Scenic Area. It houses a teddy bear themed Café and accommodation with free internet access.

Teddy Bear Hotel is beside Baoguo Bus Station, a 10-minute walk from the famous Baoguo Temple of Mount Emei and 6.5 km from Emei Town. Chengdu Emei Railway station is 10 km away. Very nice place with super helpful owners who communicate in English. They showed us how to get to Leshan with public transport, advised on Emei Shan and at the same time were able to cook delicious meals. We had one of the best tofu dishes during the whole trip in China in their restaurant. (just make sure to choose the spicy option Sichuan style;)

Chargeable tour arrangement is possible upon request. I visited several hostels in Chengdu, but from the moment I walked in, this one felt the most welcoming. The staff was always there to answer even my strangest questions about the city - huge thanks to Nicole, Penny, Damian(?) and everyone else for being so friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the bar/café had a cozy vibe that completely transformed in the evening with live singing performances (but still relaxed). Thank you for a great stay - hope to return someday!

This is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed! The room was a great size, had great nights sleep and the location is perfect - super close to everything. In the middle of the city but there is also a quaint little area down the road with cute cafes and shops. The best thing is the staff - it is staffed 24/7 with amazing staff who speak English and do anything to help. One of the ladies helped me buy tickets to see the table tennis because the website was only in Chinese. Thank you for making my stay in Chengdu! Couldn’t recommend more
