Mistica Island Hostel - Isla Palma is located in Isla Palma and features a garden and a bar. Guests at the hostel can enjoy a continental breakfast. I spent a couple of very relaxed days at Mistica on Isla Palma! Its a great place set up on a quiet island. It did not feel super touristic to me and it has great nature. A perfect little get away! My life there was all about beach, a bit of swimming in crystal clear waters, only wearing bikinis, eating freshly caught fish, a bit of dancing & beach volley, some kayaking and watching beautiful sunrises & sunsets! Oh, & cuddles with monkeys, the car and Coral the racoon! They really make you feel a part of their island family, living the island life. I will be back!

The hostel is located right on the beach, and had a great vibe from the start! We had some trouble locating it because it was dark and google maps wasn’t helpful. We were running late but the two sisters who own the house waited up for us and made us feel right at home. If you like falling asleep listening to the ocean, under a huge dream catcher this is the place for you! Breakfast is fresh, and the coffee delicious. The artisan shop is right there with lots of creative designs by the sisters. I even met their mother. Such a beautiful family stay.

It is well organised, we loved that the Eco system is working great. We were there 4 nights, Such good value for money. It is a place to relax, the tours to other beaches were fantastic, Isla Mucura was amazing too. In Santa Lova you can eat delicious food and they have good enough variety on the menu. Also delicious cocktails. Overall a wonderful experience.

We had an amazing time in La Cabaña. The view from the glamping and the place itself is just unreal. The room is just perfect with a fan and an aircon. The staff made us feel really like at home and the food was exceptional, with fresh ingredients that were clearly sourced locally and hence, very natural. You have to try the piñacolada in La Cabaña as it is the best on the island. Mr Antonio is a gentleman, he collected us from the Cartagena airport and brought us to the island. It is indeed a different and wonderful experience when getting to the island. We came across great people from the island, from the staff in the hotel and the lovely people who sell stuff on the beach, unlike others complaining about these people "being annoying" we took the time to speak to them and know more about themselves. Our recommendation, be friendly and polite and if you don't want to buy anything just say "no, thank you very much" and they won't bother you. Remember that these people live from tourism and they are welcoming us to their place. It does make a difference in the time you pick to go. In our case, we went on a Monday and Tuesday (the 5th and 6th of June) there so it wasn't that crowded. What a place to stay! The island is just perfect. Highly recommended.

Don’t even get me started with the staff - we absolutely loved Carlos and the intern. Felt so welcome and the trip they arranged were super nice and cost efficient. Can’t wait to go back.
